With that reality comes necessary stewardship, education and protection of these Federally endangered animals.
5 types of sea turtles hang out in our local waters. The Leatherback, the Loggerhead and Green turtles nest each year. Kemp's Ridley and Hawksbill love our waters but rarely nest on our beaches.
